Amanda Brosgole
She/Her
Mixed media artist
Amanda Brosgole is a creator of environments, working across digital, oil, and acrylic painting. Her practice is rooted in color and material experimentation, where the act of making becomes a place for discovery.
She creates large scale abstract works that merge traditional media with unconventional materials such as makeup, embroidery, clay, LED lights, and found objects. Built through layers and textures, her paintings exist less as fixed images and more as evolving environments.
Music is central to Brosgole’s process. Using a synesthetic approach, she translates beats into color, shape, and gesture. The work is developed intuitively, allowing rhythm to guide each line.
After completing a physical painting, Brosgole digitally remixes her works together in Photoshop, transforming it into new compositions and extending it across mediums. This ongoing exchange between physical and digital forms allows each piece to live in multiple states, blurring the boundaries between object and image.
Through her work, Brosgole invites viewers into immersive sensory spaces where color, texture and sound transform and merge.
